No object currency or transaction currency in PS hierarchy reports

Hi,

It is not possible to show the PS hierarchy reports with object or transaction currency values. Values are only shown in co area/company code valuta. The only thing that is available is the object/transaction currency used in a project using drilldown functionality. Amounts in the report however are still in the company code valuta. I know this is an issue in PS reporting. Does anybody have a solution for this issue? Of course you can always build your specific custom reports or use BW for reporting.

Hi

You can change the Reporting currency through tcode CJE2 - Change Hierarchy Report

Over here default is Controlling Area Currency and you can change it to Object Currency in which the project is maintain.

Check and let us know if this suffice.

Hi Paul,

From a budget point of view, you can use report BPPLAN00 in SE38.

Else you have to create your own ZReport for actual.

Have you checked this option of reporting in hierarchy reports,

Menu>Settings>Currency (To Currency and Translation Key)?

Hi,

I am aware of this option, but it doesn't reflect the real amounts in object currency. The report must show the correct amounts in object currency as used in the different transactions at the different booking dates.

The solution you propose translates the co area currency with a currency rate of a specific date. This is not the same.
