CALL METHOD cl_gui_frontend_services=>directory_browse is not working in WEBGUI (SRM 4.0 Webbrowser).

Getting screen which says

Please wait. You will be forwarded automatically.

This page had to be included for technical reasons.

In the status of the browser getting message

Applet DirectorySelect notinited

Please help

Hi,

Check your JVM version in your PC. It has to be Sun Java 1.4 or higher.

I had exactly the same problem and after Java reinstallation all worked OK.

Hi,

I also get the same message (Please wait. You will be forwarded automatically.This page had to be included for technical reasons) when I run a report via the portal (ITS transaction). The report results displays fine in the browser, but when I try and save the results locally (Menu->List->Export->Local File) I get the above mentioned message.

I use an Internal ITS with the WAS6.40. Is there a solution to this problem?

Hi sridhar,

make sure that you have sun current jdk 1.4/1.5 installed. MS java is no longer supported. Does the download work? It uses the java applet too.
