SRM---SRM-MDM catalog----Not able to login

Hi,

we have established a connection between SRM and SRM-MDM catalog. The SAP WAS JAVA( search UI, Admin UI and MDM connectors) is installed in the SRM server.

We have mentioned the catalog parameters in define external web services.

when we click on the URL it is asking for the SERVER NAME and SERVER PASSWORD. when we enter this it gives error "connection to server failed" .

Should it ask for SERVER NAME and PASSWORD??

System details: SRM 5.0, SRM_SERVER--5.5

Hi,

here the server name and the password is of the MDM server .Just check there is no firewall service running on your MDM server,usually because of this u get Connection to server failed error.

Hi,

When you get logon screen for UI config, that means aoto logon has failed.

Please test with URL string first.

http://<J2EEServer>:<port>//SRM-MDM/SRM_MDM?server=<MDMServer>&username=<username>&password=<passwor...;

When can get search screen, that means correct POST parameters are transfered.

Please set the same parameter in the catalog call structure customizing.
