Hi Moderators.
Could someone who has some connection with SAP please find out for us what is the exact status of License renewals for the NSP Netweaver 2004S ABAP stack (various SP levels) sneak preview system.
There seems to be several post on this topic non of which have either resolved the problem or are particularly clear to follow.
I understand that there is still a possibility to use the Linux version but this is not so easy to do given the various different Linux distributions currently available.
It would be a real shame if the ABAP stack (Basis aka minisap) were no longer available as this is a really EXCELLENT learning platform for ABAP Web dynpro, WAS, OO etc etc.
The older version (usually referred to with the Abap Objects book is "getting a bit long in the tooth" these days.
Cheers
Jimbo
Hi SAP,
What really happened with the NSP license ?
It was so convinient to have the MiniSAP on my laptop.
Did you forgot that your happy clients (and ISV) are your best advertisment ?
greetings Georgi
