Dear Krisha,

You can check the currently open Periods in MMRV.

then you can open / close Periods for your company code in MMPV.

As far as movement type for BIlling is concerend there is no movement type in Sales Invoice. But SAP standard movement type for Outbound Deliveries (forwhich you create Bill) is 601.

Their is no movement type for Billing as such.

MMRV for allowing periods.

Hi

Try Tcode MMRV to open the periods.

Movement type is required only when it is required to move the goods. Since movement of goods is not involved during Billing, movement type doesn't play.

Please see the path : Spro --> financial accounting --> financial accounting global setting -->document --> define open and close periods.

in case of company code please use MMPV transaction code.

movement type for billing document: be specific to the question you asked , give clear information what you want.

Hello,

The transaction code for opening a posting period for MM is MMPV.

There is no goods movements occurs in billing, so there is no question of movement type in billing.
