WD for Abap - OTR

hi folks,

i'm using WD for ABAP and i'm wondering how the OTR thing works:

i write in a field type Textview in property text a text, but these texts get created in my package, but with no alias, when i try to type in

package/alias - here: /TYED/CA_ATCP_0001/Material then i get an error as system says package in otr does not match my package - seems to be an error.

are there any tricks behind ????

Hi Oliver,

have you tried the full notation $OTR:Aliasname ?

Hi Heidi,

yes i did that my notition was:

$OTR:/TYED/CA_ATCP_0001/MATERIAL

where

/tyed/ca_atcp_0001 - is my package

MATERIAL - is my alias

and then i got the above mentioned error-message.

other question:

when i just type in the text, the texts are always "new" stored in the otr beyond my package but without any alias, and selecting a text from otr shows me only the basic_vocabulary ????
