Hi,
Please let me know the significance of Low Level Code.
Thanks,
SIva.
depending on location in the supplychain and the PPM/PDS each location product is assigned a low level code
You can generate this code from relevant transaction in APO (just look under the menu for SNP and PPDS)
If you go to the planning file entry screen(pl look for transaction) you can see the low level code there (try seeing it before and after running the code calculation)
The relevance of this code is that (most) planning heuristics take this code into account... and whe you have set bottom up planning start planning for the ones with 0 in the LLC and then move on to 1 and so on...
you can also reverse the planning to be top down....
Als you can use heuristics to calculate LLC everytime you want to do planning (assuming you have had changesin network and masterdata)
The LLC is just a guide for planning.....

Hello ,
The low-level code specifies the bill of material (BOM) level and supply chain location at which a location product is situated. The SNP heuristic needs this information to be able to determine the correct planning sequence for the location products, thus ensuring that demands are fulfilled correctly.
And PPDS hueristics need this to determine the correct bom levels , so the required components are planned .
