FRF-00007 Unable to open RFC connection.

Hello gurus,

I am trying install SAP R/3 IDESu2013 4.7.

Operating system - Windows server 2003 SP2

ORACLE u2013 9.2

PATCH SET - 9.2.0.8.0

I get below error on step 31.

FRF-00007 Unable to open RFC connection.

ERROR 2008-07-20 12:52:03

FRF-00063 RFC logon failed with message: Failed: SAP_CMINIT3 : rc=20 > Connect to SAP gateway failedConnect_PM GWHOST=myserver, GWSERV=sapgw00, ASHOST=cdsserver, SYSNR=00

On this stage the sap server must be started, open your MMC in desktop and check are your sap started? If no, start it, if yes try to stop and start again, after continue istallation. Regards.

Hi Sergo,

I opened SAPMMC. I selected the SAP systems and started the system and stopped.

When sap was running I tried to add the sap server to SAPGUI (7.1) but I couldn't initially. But I could. I could able to access SAP.

Next step, Do I have to continue my installation now? I want to fix these error before I do the client copy.
