Hello. Hmmm you use the oracle 9.2 and DBAtools 7.00 (brtools, brconnect ..) it's not possible ... you can upgrade oracle to 10g, or dowgrade DBAtools to 640, the second step are easly. For example re

P.S. new version brtools 700 can work with 9.2, but for this you MUST use oracle 10g client. Read Note 849483 - Corrections for BR*Tools Version 7.00

Regards.

Thanks Sergo for your reply. I am trying to follow the steps given in the link.

I have downloaded the DBATL640O92_49-20000185.SAR from the SAP service market place. And I tried to extract the sar file. I get the below error.

C:\DBATL>SAPCAR -xvf C:\DBATL\01\DBATL640O92_49-20000185.SAR

processing archive C:\DBATL\01\DBATL640O92_49-20000185.SAR...

format error in header

Am I missing anything here?

Gurus plz help me.

Thanks,

Priya

Hello. Format error in header , means you use the older version SAPCAR, try to download newest version of SAPCAR.

Read for example Note 892842 SAPCAR error: format error in header .

P.S. you find solution himself, i'm be in answer stage and can't see your solved post )

Regards.
