Backup required on server disk

Hi,

I am very new in taking backup using BRTOOLS,

But problem is that i have no LTO drive , when i run brtools, error give tape Drive not found.

could you please tell me where i want to change so that i took backup on the server drive, because i have lot of space on server drive.

points will be rewardable

please i am stuck on that points.

HI

You should make some changes in init<SID>.sap , remember to save a copy of the file before change.

remote_host = "host where your backup should be"

stage_root_dir = "where to save backup"

archive_stage_dir = "where to save archives"

backup_dev_type = disk

stage_copy_cmd = copy

remote_user = "your user on the host"

Then use brtools to make a backup.

I have used those backups for system copy.
