Wont allow me to select a file in my local drive using ITS

Hi guys please help me. My problem is that when i tried to upload a file it won't allow me to select a file in my local drive. Is that really the behavior? Thanks!! hope you could help me.

If you use the frontend services in SAPGUI for HTML,interim screens are shown because of technical reasons.

You need Java Applet to be iniated before the page loads.IS Java installed on ur PC ?
