Hello guru's,
My scenario is File to IDOC via XI 7.0.
XI has to pick the XML file and map with IDOC and send IDOC to R/3.
I have a well known problem which I can not solve it:
"Unable to convert the sender service to an ALE logical system".
In Mapping EDI_DC40 is disabled.
In Receiver Agreement, Header Mapping, the Sender Service &Receiver Service are set.
Apply Control Record Values from Payload is not set in Communication Channel= IDOC receiver.
Logical System is present in SLD for the sender and receiver Business System. It is also in we20 in R/3. SALE is also done.
What strange is that my interface is not in Service: Sender Business System?
If I test it in ID:Tools->Test Configuration, everything is OK.
I have really read a lot on SDN and I don't know what to try anymore.
Could anyone please help me?
Kind regards,
Danijela Zivanovic
Hi,
In Sender Business System.
Go to Adapter Specific Attribute and give Logical System name of Sender.

Hi,
Step1: In SLD - Technical system -> Client number -> Logical System Name (make sure your business system name is there )
Step2: In ID - Business System -> Service -> Adapter Specific Identifiers ( Specify the Logical System Name)
Thanks,
Boopathi

Hi all,
In ID, Business System -> Service -> Adapter Specific is ok.
In SLD is Logical system and client for the technical system also good defined. The technical system is type Web AS ABAP.
But, there is the same technical system in SLD type Web AS Java.
At this one the Client and Business System are not defined.
1) Do I have to do it also for this type of technical system?
2) Can XI take XML only via technical system type Web AS Java?
Please, urgent help!
Regards,
Danijela
