Configuration Isse Service Desk

Hello all,

I got the task to look into the "Support Desk" - well.. I am kind of new to this world in SAP - have an ITIL / ITSM background a know server Support Desk Systems but not SAP.

I have the SAP_SUPPDESK_ADMIN Roll and I see plenty of menu entries in the Solution Manager 7.0 which deal with the Support Desk...

I'd like to do some reading first, unforunately I did not find something like a step by step guide at the Service Marketplace. May somone can point me to a good starting point to understand what need to be customized an how?

Hello Markus,

thank you very much. I have found the documentation and will work thru it. On help.sap.com there is a "Konfigurationleitfaden für Support Desk und Issue Tracking" mentioned (i'd translate this with configuration guide for Support Desk and Issue Tracking) I have searched all places but I can not find it.

Does someone know where I can find a link or download this?

Use transaction SPRO - Standard IMG - and simply follow the steps to set up the service desk. Each point has a (pretty good) documentation which can be printed.
