What are the main advantages for upgrading our current 5.2 version to 5.3 especially in reference to the CUP portion?

Hi Gregory,

After upgrading your system from CUP5.2 to CUP5.3 you have following advantages;-

1-UAR(User Access Request) Request Type.

2-SOD(Segregation of Duties) Request Type.

3-Integration with non SAP sytems Like:- Peoplesoft , IDM Intergration.

4-Change Log:- you can eaisly record the changes like in Roles, initiator Ect.

5-Cross system risk analysis during request creation.

6-One new analytical report for delagation.(Delegation Report)

7-We are not able to create multiple open requests for same userid and same system.

8-Some additional search attributes are coming in CUP 5.3 for search request.

9-Some more additinal features are available in CUP 5.3.

The 5.3 Release Notes are available in SMP. It details all the new functionalities in CUP 5.3.
