JCO ADMIN Connection

Hi Experts,

We are not using Single Sign on for JCO Admin connection. SAP suggested that we have to assign JCO_ADMIN id to the employee as we are using userid/password for JCO connection. Still we are facing the problem. I can't see the data for the employee i.e. Personal Information, Who's Who (OWN Data)

I am looking for the solution that if we don't have to user Single Sign On, is their any alternate way to do JCO ADMIN connection without using userid/password.

Would really appreciate kind guidance.

wihtout using user id and password means

only 2 options remaining

1) sso using sap logon ticket

2) with x.509 certificate

Do you have any idea, how to use with x.509 certificate ?

No Single Sign on... no access without login and password... simple.

Without Single Sign on theres no way that the backend system and the portal can trust each other.

Correct me if Im wrong.
