Start SMD agent remotely

Hi,

Is there any way that we can start smd agent remotely ?

We have smd agent running on many sap systems. During maintenance time, it is talking lot of time to logon to each server and stop smd agent.

Any information regarding this is appreciated.

If you´re on Unix you can write a script and use ssh to remotely login into the servers and stop the agent non-interactively.
