Today we are running Vertex sales tax version 3.1.5 on version V5R3 of the operating system. We are planning to upgrade to V5R4 in the near future. The Vertex software vendor tells us that they don't think that this version 3.1.5 will work on V5R4 although they cannot tell us why. I would like to know if any other Vertex customers are running version 3.1.5 on V5R4. Thank you in advance for any insights you can provide.
That is what makes this so frustrating in that they cannot tell us why we must upgrade. I feel that another customer probably had an issue after an upgrade so they are stating that release is not supported. That is why I am hoping to find another customers on V5R4 running the 3.1.5 version of Vertex so I can feel more comfortable about upgrading.
