Translation - Types

Hi,

Need :

We need to be able to call a webdynpro application in different languages.

Actual status and problem:

- Titles, buttons have been translated and work fine in different languages.

- I'm using types wich are imported from the backend through an RFC function, i'm mapping these types to an inputfield. The types are only imported in the model language, in my case it's english and i cant' find how to translate these types in other languages.

Has someone had this problem before ? is there a way to translate the types ?

Hi,

If you look in the package hierarchy, You will see that for each type their is a .xlf files create .xlf files for rest of the languages.

Hi,

You can only create .xlf files for local types. I tried it and it works fine. But it doesn't work for types imported from the backend !
