HI,

Is there any way that i can setup such that emails are sent only when the next alert comes in.( i dont want to send the emails for the same alert continuously ).

Could you please let me know how you solved the problem?

Actually in our Solman also we are facing the same issue.

Alerts are coming but some alerts are duplicate and just time stamp of alert is changed.

Hi,

1. Configur SMTP

2. Configure Email alerts in RZ20

3. Then try it now

Check with http://help.sap.com --> Search CCMS Email Alerts.

I had already configured CCMS, my issue is i dont want the same alert to be sent repeatedly. I only want to send email when the new alert triggers.

Is there any way to do that .

Hi Kobby,

I dont think the alerts are repeating at all. In RZ20- MTE-Properties, the comparision value is set to last reported value by default, so it should not generate another alert till its the same value,, You can try out other options.
