Unable to create new DC in NWDS of SC on NWDI

Hi Guys,

It's the first time that I'm realy configuring tracks and SC's on NWDI. Now, I've succeeded in creating my track and my SC but when I open my NWDS and try to create a new DC I get the message "Name Server at the moment not available".

My nameserver is host19.domain.com:50000 but the name server I see when I try to create the new DC is host19:50000...

So that's why it can't find my name server. But does anybody know how and where I can change this?

It's something that needs to be changed on the NWDI server itself I think.

You are facing a network setup problem.

It appears your development system does not have access to the SLD server's domain. You have two options to fix this:

1. Add an entry to your hosts file, mapping host19 to it's ip.

2. Add host19's domain to you DNS suffix search order in your Network Connection properties.
