Create a transport request for the IMG project

Dear All

When I am going to create IMG project , I receive th efollowing Message:

Create a transport request for the IMG project

immediately?

and ask for yes... or No Later

What does it means ... plz some explain

Nayab,

This pop up comes when you try to generate the IMG in the remote satellite system.

Actually solutin manager copies or create a replica of your solman proj in the satellite system and it was req so that what ever changes you do ...you can capture and move the req whn required.

Hope it resolves ur prob.

Hey,

It means that a transport request wil be created for that IMG project...

Then subsequent transport requests can be assgined to that IMG project..

When all developments are completed with regards to that Project......we can release the Transport request which belonged to that project so that the whole prject is transported to the subsequent system...

Encourage ppl by rewarding...

this means that solman will keep track of transport requests , then from where these request will be released and transported ie. from Solman or DEv server using se10.
