User License Calculation

How user Licenses will be calculated? Is it named users or a group of users or any else?

<b>In the event like INDENTING in MM every employee will make Indent but it is not possible to purchase license for all employees. How this can be handled in SAP?</b>

My organisation is planning for the ERP solution from SAP (mySAP) in near future.

Can you please suggest in brief just giving Idea how it is calculated?

Hi!

This is handled individually.

There might be the general rule: "everyone, who will use SAP has to have a user, license is based on number of users", but even this might not match to every situation.

But I heard of (small part of) projects, where license costs where the reason, not to take SAP for some functionality.

Contact SAP for such questions.
