I don't think so there will be charcters limitation in standard text.since itz a long text and globally can use.

I have one more question. What are the tables STXH, and STXL ? I am assuming that the last field(i don't remember its name at the moment, it is LRAW datatype) of STXL holds the text we entered in the standard text. Please confim this .

Hi,

Surya there is no limitation for standard text.

STXH STXL holds the Standard text details.....

To read the text u have to go READ_TEXT Function module

Execute the function module enter ID , LAnguage, Text NAme, Object which u can get from STXH table and then execute it.. U will get the text....

It is a long text, so I dont think there is any limitation to the number of characteres.
