Hello, I plan to migrate several (NON SAP) MSSQL 2000 databases to SAPDB. Could someone give me informations or howto guides please. I haven't found anything about this on this web site neither the marketplace. Only with SAP installations.
Many thanks for your help.
Soeren
Hi Soeren,
afaik most SQL Server dbs heavily rely on the use of stored procedures.
As these are MS SQL specific this coding cannot be easily converted.
Perhabs you'll find on http://www.open-maxdb-group.org some more experience with such projects.
regards,
Lars

Sorry to disappoint you,
but as long as you did not take a db-platform change into account when you designed the application, there will always be manual steps necessary.
Anyhow - how does your application look like? Do you use stored procedures as I assumed? Or did you just use tables/views and plain SQL?
Perhabs we can figure out a more convenient way if we know more about what you want to migrate.
regards,
Lars
