Different material-specific text types for SD documents

Hi SAP colleagues,

It is requested to be able to maintain different types of sales texts, which are material specific. Example: for every material 3 different types of texts can be maintained. Text 1 is meant for the order confirmation, text 2 is for the delivery note, text 3 appears on the invoice.

Of course in the material master the view u201CSales textu201D is available, but this is only one type of text. The basic data text, inspection text and internal comment cannot be used because this interferes with existing functionality. Unfortunately also classification is not an option, because the characteristic value is restricted to 30 characters.

It would be most helpful if you know a solution for this.

Sales Text is maintained on Sales Area level.For different sales area u can maintained different sales text and that u can use for different purpose.

Thanks for you answer, but unfortunately this will not solve the problem. I will need to be able to differentiate within one sales organization. Furthermore I need different text types.

Goto SPRO >> S&D >>Basic Functions >> Text control

Create new text Ids and use them as per your need in sales order ,Delivery note and invoice.
