MAU Error when downloading application

Hi,

We are having the following problem on our Production Environment when we are trying to download our application onto the mobile device.

Our device configuration is called PV2 and this contains our application MAU.

The error messages we're getting are:

Sync 1. Installation file does not exist.

Upload the file.

Assignment to application PV2.

Sync 2. Download of application MAU : MAU installation failed Error when downloading application from

http://<server-host-fully-qualified>:50000/meContainerSync/servlet/com.sap.mi.http.mobileComponentSe...

Sync 3 /4. Same error as above.

Soft restart

Sync 5: Success

The above sequence isn't consistent for each device. It can vary from 1 - 5 syncs and not always needing a soft restart.

We're always getting the message for Sync 1 now and sometimes Sync 2. Before last week this had never occured.

We haven't undeployed / deployed the application on the production environment so we're unsure how this has come about.

Any ideas?

Thanks, Vinnie

Hi,

if you try to download the APP in the browser by entering the link manually, does this work?

I guess you have a clustered scenario in place. Have a look into the Notes in that case. If this is the csse the folowing is happening: You have updated the file on only one cluster. The download is triggered - but tries to acces another server. File there does not exist - bang - error. I guess you changed the setup of the clusters and so all clusters are used - in the past only the same server was used always.

Could this be the issue?

If yes, there should be a note available about this isue and how to deal with it.

Oliver
