Adding user in organisation structure

Dear All,

Basis guy has created User Id ,now i have to add him in the enterprise structure.Can any one kindly explian the procedure to add user in org. structure and the precautions to be taken.

Hi,

Use transaction USERS_GEN. Select "Copy User and Employee data from template" --> Select Create users from existing SU01 users --> Click on execute button --> Select "Organizational Unit (ID)" & Country --> Clieck on "continue" --> select the list of users or specific users from the pop up window.

You can also use a flat file upload function for mass user assignment using "upload users from file" option instead of "Select Create users from existing SU01 users".

you can save time by using upload the users via file

available in same TXN

the mandatory entries are last name, USER ID & the org unit no where you want to assign this user

this will create the SU01 also(you don't need to create prior)

and assign to org structure also at desired file

simple TXT file you need to prepare

and you can upload many users at diff place in org stru

sorry forgot to say to check that "head of Own Organizaiton unit"...

once checked , that particular user will be manager

just go to pposa_bbp

search the user

once you get the user then under basic data there will be a check box "Head of own Organization Unit"

that's it

now that particular user is manager
