File adapter

Hi all,

I got the error message in sender file communication channel as The FTP server returned the following error message: 'com.sap.aii.adapter.file.ftp.FTPEx: 550 /MCH: The system cannot find the file specified. '. For details, contact your FTP server vendor.

I tried with *.csv and also with . But it is giving the asame error message. what I have to do to solve this.

check if the ftp is accessible to XI. or if the directory name ,host was properly inserted.

Addition to that also check you have given the correct Directory name in the File adapter. better to copy paste to avoid any mistake:)

Then check the status of the CC and based on the Error root out the problem..it this case the Error is due to the Directory name and its path.

But the error it is showing is It is not identifying the file. I specified the file name as . i.e dot then it has to pick the all the files.

Use "star dot star" instead of dot

Hi Karthikeya,

Please check the files you have in FTP location using a FTP client and specify the particular file name it self for testing .

For ex : file.csv

or . for picking all files ( single dot is not the right format )
