Hi.

we want to display PDF documents via Adobe Acrobat Reader inplace in the transaction CV02N.

Actually we're using the setting "%AUTO%" for the workstation application. But this works only

for out-place viewing.

Maybe a way is to

use the embedded viewing of PDF files in the standard browser.

But how to achieve the in-place-display of PDF documents ?

Any ideas or suggestions ?

For inplace viewing of PDF you would need to use the ECL viewer. Press F1 on the field and you will see a number of options available. One of them should be the script (EAIWeb.webviewer2D.1 %SAP-CONTROL%) to use the ECL viewer. You need the 2D option (the 3D option is reserved for 3D drawing formats).

Make sure you have the latest copy of the ECL viewer installed.

Instead of using %AUTO% u can try out this in DC30,

PC pdf 1 pdf %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.INPLACE%

PC pdf 2 pdf %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.OUTPLACE%

PC pdf 3 pdf %SAP-OFFICE-INTEGRATION.INPLACE% %MAXSIZE%
