Hi,
How is the pricing done in food industry or FMCG industry based on the MRP(max retail price).
For ex:The company sells it to the c&f at say Rs 10 keeping in the margin as 6% again the C&F sells it to the dealers keeping a margin as 4% and down to the retailer wth 8%
So how is the pricing done is sap sd module keeping in mind this scenario so that there is no change in the margins in the distribution channels??
please help
thanks in advance

In this scenario, isn't the company concerned with just the primary sales to its C&F agent? MRP can be there as a statistical condition and also the other prices can be there for Dealers/retails but they should not affect the pricing since the company price is for the C&F.

Hi,
Assign the same pricing procedure to your sales area(all distribution channels included).
Make the sales price condition manual and input the price as per your requirement in the sales order.
Reward points if it helps.

Hi,
Normally in case of products having MRP, pricing procedure can contain a base price as well as an MRP price. Both these can be maintained in the form of condition types with respective condition records. MRP price is required for calcultaion of excise as per the excise rules and other calculations will follow accordingly.
Hope this helps.

Biswas,
thnks for the reply.....the company wants to keep the margins same across the distribution and fix the prices so that there is no differnce in prices when billing takes place in between the distribution channels.By doing this there will be no mismatch of prices in the market
More suggestions plz
