merchandising activities

hi gurus,

Is there any tcode to capture the merchandising activities in sap SD module.

For ex:details of the dealers like how much godown sapce he has.how many vehicled he has or brand painting of the dealers vehicles by the company for advertising the brand or to keep a track of POP materials sent to te dealer..etc

Please help

POP materials can be tracked if you treat it as a consignment stock but i think it would be too cumbersome to create sales orders and deliveries in the system to reflect such stocks, especially if the client does not do it in their current process for POP's.

Other details can be stored in a Z table and Z fields that you can use to update, print or for information purposes.

Hi,

In SAP there are two places where you can record customer data.

One is the Customer master which may not have dedicated field meeting your requirements, but other fields can be used for storing and printing them on the required documents. You may also use Customer master texts for this purpose.

Another alternative is to capture this information in Sales activity which again keeps entire record of customer including latest transaction details. Various sales activity types can be configured to capture the desired information.
