GL Account preparation

in MMB01 after filled required fields at the time of saving error is showing. GL Accounts are missing or not assigned pls suggest me how to solve this problem

Check GL setting in transaction "OBYC" for transaction "BSX".

Please check the IMG settings related to the Account determination

Path is

SPRO>Material Management>Valuation and Account assignment>Account determination>Account Determination Without Wizard

-->Define Valuation Control

-->Group Together Valuation Areas

-->Define Valuation Classes

-->Define Account Grouping for Movement Types

Hi,

You are getting this error ' GL Accounts are missing or not assigned ' because GL Accounts may be not be created in T.code FS00 or may not be assigned in T-code VKOA.

Creating GL Accounts is the work of FICO Consultant. Regarding Configuration of VKOA, both FI & SD consultant should do ut.

Please let me know if you need more information.

Iam practicing in my home so thats y i dont know how to create and assign GL Account to Stock, pls explanin briefly how to create and assign the GL Account

Hi,

You can create GL account in FS00 transaction.

You can assigne GL account for combination of Valuation Area & Valuation class which will be determined from material master at the time of inventory posting.
