Reorganization Action for message

Former Member

Hi all,

Looking into the message details in SXMB_MONI, there is an attribute, Reorganization Action, associated with each message.

I saw values like INIT, ARCH, DEL, XRCH.

Can anyone explain what is the meaning of these value?

Hi SAP_noob,

I did a search for you in OSS and found 2 notes to look at

INIT is an inital state, means there was something wrong with the message and either needs to fixed or not re-startable pending on the type of interface.

ARCH is a processed message (whether successful or not restartable) and it is in a state to be archived (whatever your archiving procedure is at), if you have not set one up yet I would recommend starting at first (http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/0e/80553b4d53273de10000000a114084/content.htm).

DEL means that either it was already archived or your strategy suggest the message is ready for delete.

XRCH: Note 1131367 and 854045 for specific messages for XRCH, looks like a version problem or a type of error within XI/PI.

Hope this helps

Rocco
