Hi,
MDM and BW can be integrated through XI. You can also access MDM from BW by using MDM ABAP API. It can either be accessed by using function modules or by using class based ABAP API.
There is need to install MDM_TECH on the BW side and can be configured using the transaction MDMAPIC.
