Data Upload From Back Up Tapes Into SAP Netweaver 2004s

Hello all,

All the data from SAP Netweaver 2004s system was backed up in tapes. Now this data needs to uploaded to a nely setup server. I have got the data files on the system. What is the way or tool that data from disk drives can be uplaoded back to SAP database system?

Hi

There are two ways of doing that thing:

1. Re-install the SAP server and use the datafiles from the backup. There is an option for that during the installtion.

2. Backup your new SAP system, then use the change SID concept that you use to use during SYSTEM REFRESH activities.
