Hi,
Global Data Synchronization
1. Global Data Synchronization allows us to exchange trade item data with your retail partners using the Transora and UCCnet data pools.
2. Through Global Data Synchronization, unified object information is synchronized with data pools, such as UCCnet and Transora, in a standard industrial format, then provided
to trading partners.
3. It's a complete solution for mapping the exchange of data between an ERP system and industry data pools.
This application was developed because increasing members of customer goods manufacturers and resellers are using standardized catalogs to mange their supply chains. These catalogs are managed with a clearing instance in a central data pool. The data is placed there by manufacturers and assigned a central number.

My Question: Are you talking about connectivity of GDS Console to Web AS or it's connectivity for pulling/pushing data?
Hi Aditya,
GDS as it stands for Global Data Synchronization can be used effectively to manage trade item exchange between manufacturers and retailers via Standardized data transfer using dat pools UCCnet or Transora so that the exchange can be done using 1 sync.
This is a prerequisite for efficiently handling the ordering , shipping and invoicing processes.
GDS basically helps in the continuous harmonization of data attributes values between two or more different systems, with the end result being identical data attribute value in all the systems.
Advantages of GDS are :
1. Prevent error when communicating with trading partners.
2. Reduce number of incorrect invoices.
3. Decrease time needed to introduce new product.
4. Process information & request from trading partner through Data pool
Hope this would be helpful!!!!
If helpful do reward points!!!!!

Hi Aditya,
Global Data Synchronization - say, GDS -business scenarios are the prerequisite for efficiently handling the ordering, shipping, and invoicing processes. GDS is also beneficial if you have any processes related to radio frequency identification (RFID).
This business scenario allows you to:
a)Prevent errors when communicating with trading partners
b)Reduce the number of incorrect invoices
c)Decrease the time needed to introduce new products
d)Minimize the manual effort needed to change orders
e)Process information and requests from trading partners that are communicated through the data pool,
