Hi,
Refer to [this link|http://www.riyaz.net/blog/index.php/2008/01/25/xipi-settings-in-r3-partner-system-to-receive-idocs/].
If you are using a standard IDoc, you can ignore the initial part i.e. SE37, WE57, BD51, and WE42. You only need to create logical system using BD54 and a partner profile using WE20 in the target system. You can then test the scenario as described in the link.
Hope this helps.

Riyaz
Hi,
Check if communication channels are working fine.
Then place file in directory.
Check in SXMB_MONI if there is message processing.
Check Authorizations to connect SAP are correct.
Check in IDX5 transaction if there is RFC connection between XI and SAP.
Check in WE02 of SAP if idoc is recieved,
Check related ports if they are configured correctly.
Thanks

HI,
Once you Done all the confuguration and actvation of all the objects in IR and ID.
Just refresh the cache--SXI_CACHE.
Go to your File system/FTP server put the file(mentioned in the File CC).
Then got to SXMB_MONI, to monitor wether your message processes or not. If flag is block n white then message processed sucessesfully else some errors.
find out the errors elabratly from RWB then resolve, again test the interface
thanks

Hi
U mean you want to test the File to Idoc Scenario right,
First u have to copy the XML from the Message Mapping, save that xml on the directory which u have given on sender Communication channel,
Then in R/3 you have to check with the TCode
WE05
WE02
this wil help to view your data
In XI
IDX5 or sxmb_moni
and WE19 to TEST IDOc's at R/3 side.
Following are the links to weblogs which will help to develop the basic scenarios
File to IDoc.

Hi,
If you want to test your mapping. In text tab in ID you will give values check related field is coming or not in target.
If you want to check complete senario. Go to sxmb_moni message mapping check the status red or green.
Check status of IDOC in R/3.
Check the file is picking or not.
Thanks,
RamuV

Hi,
Place a file in the specified source location.
once the scenario is configured correctly then the adapter picks the file based on the time specified in the pollinterval and process the file.and based on IDX1 IDX2 settings the file is posted to SAP R3.and in R3 check the idoc in WE05 or WE02.
there you can find the status of the idoc.
thanks,
Madhu
