hi frnds
in CIN, there are 2 tax procedures are used . like TAXINN and TAKINJ. now-a days clients are using which tax procedures . plz reply me
regards
Hello, Santosh,
Now a days TAXINN is used more as compared to TAXINJ
Below is the difference between TAXINJ and TAXINN
TAXINJ:
1. It is Formula Based Tax procedure.
2. It was most commonly used upto intial phase of R/3 4.7, but the latter implementations were with TAXINN.
3. Tax Code plays a vital role, as the Tax Rate are maintained in Tax Code.
4. It is complex compared to TAXINN
TAXINN:
1. It is Condition Based Tax procedure.
2. Tax Code is required to be maintained in Condition Record, & if Tax Code is not found in Condition Record, Sales Cycle will go upto billing, but not release to accounting. Hence even a single Tax code may suffice the requirement for different Tax rate.

Dear Santosh,
TAXINJ was being used upto 4.7 version, where TAXINN was also introduced. TAXINN is more user friendly compared to TAXINJ, hence it is recommended to use TAXINN.

In general, TAXINN. It is CONDITION BASED EXCISE DETERMINATION PROCEDURE. Usually, MM consultant are more dependent on either Formula & Condition Based Excise determination. Where as, as a SD consultant, we have choice of using both or either of Formula & Condition Based Excise determination.
Take care. JP
