Sending documents for Bid Invitation

Hi All,

What type of documents can we send with Bid Invitation? What are the advantages using cFolders with Bid Invitations.

Hi,

Foll are the settings reqd:

--.define a LS for cFolders( you have to duplicate SRM LS if it is on the same server)

-->define an RFC destination for this system (even if same as SRM)

-->define a backend system of type cFolders in SRM SPRO

-->activate SICF cFolders service (with external alias)

Normally the collaboration area should be displayed in document tab in the Bid inv screen.

Hi Ravi,

If you want to share documents such as designs, complex material specifications etc you can go for cfolder integration with SRM. This is suitable for clients who procure materials which involve good amount engineering where engineering drawings need to be sent to the supplier and u need to receive feed back from suppliers on the drawings etc.

C folder is used when the scenario calls two stage bidding.

Technical Bid and later commecial bid.

lot of technical discussion can take place via C folders via attachments, discussion etc.

it can hold big size attachments

sent a doc on yr ID
