Service cannot be reached (HTTP 404 - No Extension Found)

hi,

when i go to transaction (Solution_manager)

then i choose my solution

then in Solution Monitoring i choose Business Process Monitoring i got the following error message

Service cannot be reached

What has happened?

URL http://jusapsm1.sabicju.sabic.com:8001/sap/bc/solman/defaultUser/graphic/solmangraphic.htm call was terminated because the corresponding service is not available.

Note

The termination occurred in system SM1 with error code 404 and for the reason No Extension Found.

The selected virtual host was 0 .

What can I do?

Please select a valid URL.

If you do not yet have a user ID, contact your system administrator.

i tried to search SDN for solution but i could not find one.

i activated all the sercices but still not working

when went to SICF

to (solutionmanager) service and test it i got this message

(Missing Graphic Tag.)

any help ?

Satish,

I already assigned the correct target element. Still the same error message when I test the service. I receive another message Access is denied when I navigate to solar01 and choose the graphic tab.

Hello Ralph,

Could you please note 637995 contains some information and checks concerning the Solution Manager graphic.

Especially, the corresponding services within transaction SICF have to be activated.

Moreover, it would be helpfull if you check whether the test BSP-Application IT00 is working. To do so, please do the following:

1) Transaction SICF: Activate the service /default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/it00

2) Transaction SE80

- choose BSP-Application within the drop-down list box

- enter it00 in the field below it and press enter

- navigate to and double-click pages with flow logic->default.htm

- press F8

A browser window displaying the test BSP-Applications should be opened.

And also check the security settings in your browser (Tools => Internet Options => Advanced => Security). Please ensure that the setting Do not save encrypted pages to disk is set to initial. Additional please add the URL to your trusted sites (you can get the URL using: SE80 for BSP Application SOLUTIONMANAGER => Pages with Flow Logic => solmanGraphic.htm => Attributes => DATA_URL => Properties => URL). Please check also the note 784934.

Hi all,

my problem was the same as discussed below. The problem is, the customizing doku is wrong. In TA SPRO documentation of "creating alias for BSPs" the path to the target handler is: default_host -> sap -> bc -> solman

but it has to be !!! default_host -> sap -> bc -> solman --> defaultuser.

Than it works!!

Thanks for your reply, I appreciated. I already created the service and assigned an user with Http access. Published via the program w3_publish_services to the ITS server (Internal)

Still I am receiving the same error message when I test the service.

Could you please go through the SAP Note 834832, point 3

The following is the description given:

Choose 'External aliases'

If not yet existing, create the following external alias:

/sap/bc/solman/defaultuser underneath 'default_host'

Choose the node /default_host/sap/bc/solman/defaultUser as target

element.

On the tab strip 'Logon data', in the field 'Anonymous Logon Data' fill

in the corresponding data for a system user (Client, user, password) in

order to prevent log in popups when the graphic is being displayed (see

configuration guid of Solution Manager for details).

Save the changements.

Please make sure that you have enterted as /default_host/sap/bc/solman/defaultUser as target

element

Hello Ralph,

It seems you have not created the External Aliases, this is decribed

in IMG activity (SPRO transaction) "Create Alias for Business Server

Pages" :

1. Choose Hierachy Type -> Execute.

2. Choose External Aliases.

3. Select default_host.

4. Select External Alias -> Create.

A dialog box is displayed.

5. Enter /sap/bc/solman/defaultUser as external alias.

6. Enter a description, such as "Solution Manager Default User".

7. Select "Logon Data Required" in the Logon Data tab.

8. Specify the user for http access that you have already created, in

IMG activity "Create Service User for HTTP Access"

9. Enter a password.

The password must be the same as for the user for http access.

10. Open Default Host -> sap -> bc -> solman in the Target Element tab,

and double-click on Default User.

11. Save.

For more details please go through the SAP Note 834832.

Yu have to activate the service on Tx SICF.
