TIME_OUT PROBLEM

hi ,

i have deleted the sap* from the client 000 using the sql command level options.

now when i tried to login to client 000 with user sap* and pass.

the login process ends with a dump error TIME_OUT.

what would be the problem.

increase profile parameter rdisp/max_wprun_time = 216000

else work process will wait for some updates waiting for DB locks

hey when i used the commit and tried again there is a new problem

it is not taking the password pass.

at the bottom of the screen it is displayed that username or password is incorrect.

what would be the problem

is your system ECC6 or netwevear07 system?

please check login/no_automatic_user_sapstar

if you have any other user id to log into sap try and set this parameter to 0

else manually edit profile parametr file at OS level

sry in the delay for questioning again,

my ides system is of ECC6.0 version and i don't know any of the passwords in the client 000.

all that i know is to delete the sap* and use pass password to login again which is not working.

as u specified the parameter,

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to set.

in which profile should i set this to value 0.

instance, default or start profile.

i should do this manually as there is no other way to login to client 000.

Hi

Set the parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to value1 in the instance profile and rdisp/max_wprun_time to 1200 seconds and restart the server to get effect and try .
