Hi,

To create port in xi......IDX1

To load metadata of idoc.......IDX2

To monittor the IDOC messages.....IDX5

we use these T codes when working with R/3 systems..........

in R3 we create port using WE21....in XI its done by IDX1....

Thanks,

Madhu

IDX1 is to maintain the Port thru which the system communicates with the other systemsin the landscape. It is a important part of the ALE configuration. It is same as the WE21 in R3 systems.

IDX2 is the place where the IDoc meta data is loaded in to the system.

IDX5 is similar to the WE02 in R3 where u can monitor the inbound and outbound IDoc.

IDX3 n IDX4 is not there in XI

Thanks

Hi,

please check the following link to konw more about lookups.

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/8e7daa90-0201-0010-9499-cd347ffb...

IDX1-to create port in xi

IDX2- to load metadata of idoc.

IDX5- to monittor the IDOC messages.

when yuo plan for idoc to file scenario, you can use those t.codes.

warm regards
