Hi all,
I am doing oracle upgrade from 9.2 to 10.2.
I have just 7 months experience in BASIS.
I have done the oracle upgrade in the central instance(database).
Now that i got an application server, i am stuck up of how to upgrade the application server.
I downloaded the oracle 10.2 software and the patches from the service marketplace and it only contained "sapserver.cmd" with which i installed the oracle software
.
The downloaded stuff did not have sapclient.cmd.
We are only SAP 4.7(Kernel 640).
I have done in the central instance and do know how to proceed with the application server.
Thanks,
siddhartha
Hi Siddhartha,
You can find Oracle client software in your SAP DVDs'. Extract "OCL*.sar" file that belongs to your operating system. Then, copy them all into "sapexe" directory on your application server. I hope that I clarified your question.

Orkun Gedik
