User Authorizations to use the WSPUBLISH

Hi All:

I am using a NW ABAP 7.0 SP14 (SOAMANAGER transaction available) and I am trying to use the WSPUBLISH transaction to publish a new service created on the ABAP: However, after making all the necessary configurations I still have an authorization issue when I tried to publish it on the Service Registry.

Debugging the program, I see it is cheking the user is having an error as it does not have the SR_UDDI_REG authorization object.

However, when I tried it as well with a SAP_ALL & SAP_NEW I am receiving the same exact error message.

I have tried to do it with a trial NW ABAP 7.0 SP11 with no problem, I have seen it has a special role called SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN.

Has anyone experienced this same issue before.

Hi All:

I search and I give a profile to the user which contained that S_UDDI_REG with the permission for P and U actions and it works. There is a role called SAP_BC_WEBSERVICE_ADMIN which contains it

Hi Gonzalo,

check this!!!!!! a similar problem was solved here.

SAP_ALL should be fine.

Make sure that your system is at least SAPKB70015 or else apply the sap note 1113162.
