Internal server error http 500, open document

I have a webintelligence cluster installation. IIS6.5 sp3W2003 sp1

When I open a report, I have an internal server error http error 500. In the log I see something like : "The specified module could not be found". But I don't now which module it is.

But I can open/refresh webi reports and create new webintelligence documents.

The error is only with .rep reports (created with Business Objects)in the webintelligence application. With the Business Objects local installation there aren´t problems, I can open/refresh the reports.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Great catch!

Locating missing dll's is actually really hard to diagnose. There are applications like procmon, or modules.exe which help a bit if you're good with sifting through large amounts of logs. Procmon is available from Microsoft and modules.exe was an application written by Business Objects, so you'd have to contact support for it.

Can you also go to Internet Explorer and select,

Tools-> Internet Options...

then select the 'Advanced' tab,

then deselect 'Show friendly HTTP error messages

Select 'OK' to close the dialog,

Try reloading the .rep file from infoview again and see if the error message is more descriptive.

I solved the problem!!!!!!!!!!

The Business Objects application install has a bug in the distributed installations.

Exactly, It does not install the iswi.dll in the secondary node (where the IIS is).

I had to put the iswi.dll in: Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 6\http_server\bin

Thanks a million
