Hello everyone,

I am installing SAP R/3 ENTERPRISE 47X110 with Oracle 9i on HP u2013 UX IA64 rx2660 server.

B.11.23 ia64 (ta) OS version.

Iu2019m getting an error at the last stage of installation.

Hello. Are you try to start sap under user "sid"adm ?

Open new window,

"su - "sid"adm" and try "startsap", after try to continue. If it not work check the SWAP are you set it correctly? Check the LISTENER are up? Are you see any other errors? Regards.

Hi Sergo,

The SAPSID is 'SDB'. While installing Oracle i used the Oracle home name as 'SDB_920_64' and the destination was '/oracle/SDB/920_64'

The home directory of adm<sid> is empty. There is no 'startsap' 'stopsap' files in it.

How do i start the sap now????

The lsnrctl is working fine.

Are you read instguide abaut SWAP ?

Swap space increased upto 24GB. Started the installation from scratch.. but still getting the same error..

Hi. Are you have Installation Guide for your release? Are you set all required settings for UX kernel and over requirements?

Check in /etc/services are your sapgw00 service ? Regards.

Hmm. I can't understand you ... You say befor about you can't start sap, and "sid"adm home directory are empty.... Are anything chage after you install from scratch? If sap start and you can login , try to continue installation, and check trace files in ST11 transaction. Regards.
