How to create ITS for a R/3 Transaction?

Hi All,

I am new to ITS. Can somebody please let me know how to create a ITS for a R/3 transaction. I tried from SE80 but not able to get the result. I even checked in SICF. Whatever the service that I am created, it is not visible in SICF.

Please help and correct me.

Hi,

Are you using integrated ITS?..If so the services in SICF can be seen in the path default_host->sap->bc->gui->sap->its.

Do you want to create new services through SICF?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, my intention was that service should be visible through SICF. Even I tried to create the service through SICF. But am confused abt where to give the Transaction code and even what ever i created in SICF is not visible in SE80-> Internet Service. I guess it should be visible. Correct me If i am wrong.

My requirement was to call this ITS through Portal.

Hi,

SICF and SE80 have only very few in common. To be true, only the 'S' and they

are running in an ABAP environment

Use SE80 for developing your Internet Service and SICF to make it known

to the world.
