creation of enquiry, plan cost ......etc

Hi Experts

I am suppose to map tender stage activities in SAP, like....creation of enquiry, plan the project cost and then quotation based on the plan cost.

So, pls let me know what are the steps & customisation settings required to follow and which costing method should i adopt to plan the project cost at this stage so that i can convert it into quotation...

pls reply soon ..as it is very urgent

hi vikram,

some basic things would be

1.You need to mark PS-SD integration in your project.

2.You need to create DIP profile and assign that in your project profile.This DIP profile would transfer your project plan cost to your quotation .You can create enquiry directly in SD.

3.If you want to post revenues to any of your WBS then mark tht as billing element.

Check your DIP settings also....

thnks pushpa......but can u tell me that if i do cost panning at this stage using ECP then only will it possible to convert plan cost into quotation using DIP or can it be achived if i do cost plan by using any costing method....

hi vikram,

you can do any cost planning in project but work of DIP profile is to copy the same to your quotation,

have a look at DIP profile settings....
