SMD

Hello,

I installed Solution Manager 4.0 ,could you please let me know the steps and things to be taken care to install the Solman diagnotics and wily introscope.

Should i install the SMD at the Managing system and also Managed systems

Have gone through the document but am bit confused where to start it and how to start it.

should Wily introscope be installed separately..at both managed systems and managing system.

Please let me know in detail.

Hi,

1) should we install SMD first or Wily introscope?

A. Install SMD first.

2)Should we install them using wizard or sapinst?

A. Use ./sapinst

3)Our solman 4.0 ,SR1 should we do any kernal upgrade or anything before going for these?

A. Install latest Kernel.

4)should we install smd agents and wily introscope on all managed systems..becoz we have more than 10 managed systems ..inclulding java and abap stack systems.
