Syndication of relationships

Hi all,

I want to syndicate relationships as per req.Also we want to syndicate it in hierarchial (in xml it shd be in hierarchy).

Hi.

Till now in all the availiable versions the syndication of relationship from Syndicator is not possible.We can only export it from Data manager.Also plz clarify the second issue as we can syndicate hierarchy so may be any other way be there.

Hi,

You can export the Relationships b/w records using Data Manager. Syndicating a hierarchy directly into XML Structure is not Possible. you can firstly Map the Required source hierarchy field with Target Destination Field then by using Right Click on Source Field Split the Hierarchy using either Leaf or Nodes. Map this source leaf/Nodes also with some additional field with your target Structure. In this way you can maintain the Relationship b/w Parent and Child hierarchies but not into Hierarchy Structure.

while importing same file into any other repository you can import it into Hierarchy structure by using Partion Field/Values option as you know which field contains Parent and Child records.

Hi Braddy,

Relationship table can only be exported from the Data Manager. Syndication of relationship table is not possible in current versions of MDM. But it will be available in MDM 7.1.
